I‘m Helen, 22 years old and I am originally from Metzingen which is a small town near Stuttgart and Tübingen in South West Germany but at the moment I am studying Theater pedagogy in Lingen, Germany. Last year I started focusing a lot more on how to take care of myself and how to be not too hard to myself. I‘m in a process of learning and accepting that it is nice to learn, because I get to know me better and also have a better view for people around me. I have many different interests like sewing, playing theater, hiking, cycling, cooking and singing and right now I’m starting to get more in to meditation😊

It’s a nice way to meet new people, be in contact with other cultures and see City’s or Country’s from an inside perspective :) I love learning new things from others and also giving my knowledge to others.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A great experience that I made was going camping at the Niagara Falls. It was raining all the time and we stayed 3 days. It was pretty funny because at some point we just laughed about the situation :)

My family and I did lots of home exchanges the last years where we met great people and heard many stories. I always enjoy sharing those stories. I love learning more about your culture or the area you live in and I’m especially interested in learning to cook new dishes. I can share Insider Tipps about the Region I’m living in and Good Food/ Cook Sessions together. Also I enjoy to have an exchange about our travel experiences/share good travel destinations. And I’m always down to do karaoke night with you or play improvisation theater.
