Originally from the midwestern state of Minnesota, but moved to Chicago for college, where I studied Elementary Education, Spanish, and Latin American Studies. I love camping, hiking, swimming, motorcycle riding, climbing trees, soccer(fútbol) and pretty much anything else outdoors. I am also passionate about international travel and have studied abroad in both Argentina and Mexico.

Although I am an introvert at heart, I love working with and meeting new people. I am very grateful that my family was able to host many exchange students in our house when I was growing up. Those experiences really opened my eyes to the beauty and diversity of people and places around the world and left me with an eternal desire to travel and see the world.

My friends and family would describe me as kind and patient, but also adventurous. I am known for always having a positive attitude and a smile on my face. I am not interested in partying or doing typical tourist activities. Wherever I go, I like to feel like part of the community and connect with the people that I am living/working with.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I recently got back from a 10 month solo motorcycle trip around South America. It was an amazing trip. I learned so much about myself and the world, but definitely the best part of the trip was all of the wonderful people that I met along the way(many of which were Couchsurfing hosts and fellow surfers!). I never would have made it as far as I did without the help of complete strangers who were willing to go out of there way to put me up, show me around their towns, take care of me when I was sick, help me find mechanics and resources for my motorcycle, etc. I am eternally grateful and hope that I can return the kindness to fellow travelers.
