About Me

I'm a Frankfurt girl currently located in Berlin ✨️
In 2016 I took a gap year, because I wanted to find out more about myself, have new experiences and try new things.
I lived in Ecuador for 3 months and volunteered in a youth center in Quito, had an internship at a broadcasting and travelled afterwards through Europe (including two month in the UK).
My friends would describe me as a sensitive person that is pretty uncomplicated and open minded.
I studied Political Science and Sociology in Frankfurt and just finished my Master of International Relations in Berlin. Luckily my flexible study plan allowed me to travel a lot.

I studied in Madrid for one semester 2019/2020 at the complutense. One of the best times of my life until now with the most lovely people from all over the world.

After Madrid I worked for the German embassy in Costa Rica and times were crazy with corona.
They still are.. but since I'm vaccinated im trying to regain the life I had before the world got more complicated.

I´m sorry if I can´t answer to every message, because sometimes I´m really busy with my University Stuff. But if I have time to go on couchsurfing I will answer. In case my CS deactivated again, you can reach out via Instagram: helen_we98.

❌️Please mind that I can only host women! but I'd be happy to show my city to every person that wants to get to know it. ❌️

I prefer requests about one week before arrival. If you request your stay more than 10 days before arrival you are likely to get lost in all the messages. I'm sorry.

Furthermore, I can spot copy and paste pretty well so be sure to tell me why we should definitely meet up based on interests, experiences, activity ideas etc.

Couchsurfing is a wonderful experience when you meet people that are actually interested in you as a person and are respecting you and your space.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet new people.
It's such an amazing experience to get to know other cultures and countries.
I always prefer to stay with locals than in a hostel.
In Ecuador I had just Ecuadorian friends, so I had the precious chance to get to know the country how the locals are seeing it and not just as a tourist.
