Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, and hopefully make travelling somewhat less expensive both for me and for those that come to stay.

Interests

I do a lot of amateur dramatics, both on stage and behind the scenes. I have also done some professional voice acting in my time. I volunteer locally for a disability group, as well as helping out from time to time with other volunteering projects.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a whole variety of music, and love to sing as well as listen to it. I have lots of musical instruments in the house (electric piano, variety of guitars, autoharp, melodica, saxaphone, variety of recorders, fife, Irish bagpipes and a Didjeridu to name a few), although I haven't managed to master any yet!
I love reading, but never seem to allocate enough time to that. currently reading the second book of The Hunger Games series. Favourite books include Goodnight Mister Tom, The Five People you meet in heaven, and Skallagrigg.
I love movies, although I am informed I am 'uneducated' by a close friend who lists films I haven't heard of!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove across America from New York to LA via Niagara and Los Vegas.
