ABOUT ME

I'm British but born and raised in Luxembourg. Luxembourg's full of different nationalities, so growing up there I enjoyed meeting people from all over. Since then I've moved around a bit, living in Spain, Ireland, Austria and have really enjoyed getting to know somewhere new and how things work there. I'm currently studying migration, so I'm interested in why people move and how their lives change after moving.

I can't offer a couch right now but if you want to go for a coffee or a cup of tea let me know. I'm fairly new to London so not sure how much I can show, although I'm slowing learning where to get a good piece of cake. So if that's what you want...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't done much hosting or surfing but have met couchsurfers at different times and in different places and always found them to be great people! In general I think the idea of travelling and staying with people from the actual country in order to see something real is a brilliant idea.

I am always looking for recommendations! Especially for books. I've just discovered Haruki Murakami (long after everyone else - I always discover things late) but loved it. So any other suggestions welcome.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm really interested in languages, so love learning the odd phrase here or there in a new language. I'm not aiming for mastery but teach me how to order some food and a beer and I'll be happy! In return, I'm a qualified English teacher if anyone's interested. Or else I could always teach you a few phrases of Letzebuergesch (Luxembourgish!) :)
