Overview
About Me
I'm slowly exploring the world, bit by bit.
I'm an energetic, easy-going person who likes to find the positive side in any situation. I live in Leeds and, when I'm not working, in my free time I play bass in a band, help run a music festival, attend gigs, walk dogs, and do ballet and yoga.
I love travelling, meeting new people, exploring new places, eating great food and having a good time!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think CS is a brilliant concept and I like the idea of paying generosity forward. I used to host with my parents in the south west of England but now host in Leeds.
Being shown round a city by a local makes a huge difference in what you see and experience. I've met some awesome people through CS and hope to meet many more.
Interests
Most of life revolves around music - playing, listening, putting on gigs, attending gigs/festivals. But I also love art, reading, writing, hiking, camping and ballet.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm frequently told I haven't watched enough films by my friends so have a long list of classics that I'm slowly getting through.
I listen to mainly rock/metal but open to a bit of pop, indie, jazz, funk and blues.
Moby Dick is my favourite book, closely followed by House of Leaves.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm going to go with two because I can't choose: watching an erupting volcano in Iceland with the northern lights dancing above in the sky, and watching the sun rise on the top of Mount Fuji in Japan.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to share as much as I can with my hosts - stories, conversation, drinks and good laugh! I'm not an amazing cook but I would certainly do my best to cook a yummy vegetarian meal.
