ABOUT ME

I am a fun-seeking nomad. I was born in Hong Kong (11 years), grew up in Texas (6 years), and have lived in Chicago (5), DC (2), New York (3), San Francisco (2), London (8), and now I live in Madrid (2). Because I have lived in many places, it is easy for me to feel at home in new environments. I laugh and bump into things easily, no alcohol required. I also tend to wake up very early.

PHILOSOPHY

When I was little, I collected rocks. Now I collect experiences. Experiences allow me to relate to others. They help me understand.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted in London and have been a guest in India, Sweden, Spain, Morocco, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. There's a little anthropologist inside me that takes interests in people's daily routines.

I like to eat out with friends, explore different neighborhoods on foot, and have a slightly nerdy fondness for supermarkets.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I randomly walked into a small farm in Lao and worked there for two days. The farmer and his wife spoke no English but accepted me warmly. There were many funny moments. They worked so well together, never a complaint, only smiles and laughter.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook pretty good fried rice and roasted vegetables. I can also teach you how to read chinese characters.
