About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get ready for moving to Copenhagen!

ABOUT ME

I'm at my happiest when I am out socialising with my friends and can get on with pretty much anyone. I like to push and challenge myself to experience new things, which is why I love to travel but I also enjoy my home comforts. I'm creative and love designing and making things, which includes buildings, now I'm training to be an Architect!

I am currently living in Bethnal Green, London and working near Old Street. I have lived here for coming up to two years but in August I will be moving to Copenhagen to do a two year Masters in Architecture, which I am super excited about!

In my spare time I like to enjoy London making use of its many amazing cafes, restaurants and, of course, pubs! I'm not really a clubbing kind of person, but can be persuaded by my friends on the odd weekend - I suppose I can't resist a good dance and a cocktail every now and again!

I enjoy going for long walks and visiting Londons well-known and less well-known galleries and museums. One of my favourite places in London is the Victoria and Albert Museum. It's so big, I've been there a lot and not even scratched the surface of the collection. Thats partly because the temporary exhibitions are often very good.

Summer is a great time to come to London, the city comes alive and its parks are a great place to have a bbq or fish and chips, a couple of beers, and chill out with friends. I live right by Victoria Park in the East End, which is a gem!

Aside from this I do also like to escape the city, from time to time. I go camping once a year in the Peak District with my friend Hannah, who is also a couchsurfer, and I love day trips to the coast.

I work hard Monday to Friday in a small/medium sized Architecture Practice specialising in schools and public buildings, particularly theatres.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a brand new member of CS so I suppose I havn't really made much contribution yet apart from becoming a member! I guess once I've learnt the ropes I will participate as much as I can! If any seasoned couchsurfers have any tips that would be great!

I am completely up for meeting new people and would be happy to go for a coffee or a drink with someone but I can't accommodate anyone on a couch at the moment, as my two house mates and I only have a tiny kitchen - there is no couch!!!
