ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm Elle and I'm and English-Australian girl who, at the moment is traveling around the world. I'm an easy going and easy to get on with person, I love to laugh and don't take life to seriously. But saying that, I'm considerate of other people and am never one to judge.

I love tattoos and piercings, reptiles and rats, dying my own hair and then dying it again cos I screwed it up the first time.

I love studying psychology cos it keeps my mind challenged constantly, but I can't wait to take next semester off to go traveling and finally see the amazing cities that were right on my doorstep when I was growing up.

What I want most is to experience new things, meet new people, and create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

as is lettuce, or any other green kind of food, i mean really, anything that can be categoried with snot, slime, or mould is surely evil!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm traveling and am trying to CS as much as possible. I hope to move out when I get back to Australia and be able to start hosting myself as I think its such an excellent community of people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love it, I think its one of the best ways to travel and meet people outside of hostels (where I tend to only meet fellow Australians!). I've met some great people, both through and out of CSing and look forward to making many more friends!

兴趣

My hobbies are drawing and reading, whenever I can find the time in between University and work to do it that is. I love animals, but not always your conventional ones as I own a rat, a spotted python and a blue-tongue lizard. I love rock, screamo, metal and punk music and live for going to see it live.

where to start?? -
books - I am unashamed to say that I am a 100% Harry Potter and Twilight fan. I can't get enough of the books, the movies however leave me frustrated and annoyed. I also love Garth Nix's Old Kingdom trilogy, Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy, and most of John Marden's books including the Tomorrow series.

Movies - butterfly effect, donnie darko, nightmare before christmas and Billy Madison - which I can pretty much quote from start to finish, and quite often do after a few drinks.

Music - anything that I can mosh to. Rise Against, Linkin Park, Mayday Parade, Escape the Fate, A Day To Remember, Mindless Self Indulgence, Three Days Grace, Thrice, Seether, Paramore, Children of Bodom, Stone Sour... the list goes on!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I moved halfway across the world, from England to Australia. But now its time to explore the rest of it.

I went sky-diving for my 21st birthday and it was exhilarating.

Seeing my snake eat a mouse thats head was about three times as big as its own, it took her a while but she stuck to it. Oh, worse, losing my friends snake and finding it in the mouse cage too fat to get out because it ate an adult male... all I can say is thank f**k we found it!
