I am a sociable and optimistic girl with a huge passion for travelling. So far I have spent most of my life either travelling or dreaming about my next trips.
Two years ago I left a full-time office job and converted what always used to be my passion to my main activity so now I am a full-time traveller and a part-time freelance translator and volunteer.
I studied translation and interpreting and I can speak several languages, which has opened a lot of doors for meeting new people and getting inspired by their stories. Luckily, I can mostly work online, which gives me the freedom to choose where I want to live and the list of places I want to experience seems to be getting longer and longer!
I love discovering the way people live in the places I visit.

Interests

I enjoy practicing all sorts of sports including yoga, hiking, swimming, slacklining, skiing and rock climbing. Recently I started to learn how to surf and I love it even though I'm still a pretty lousy surfer :D
I love reading fiction because I feel it opens the door to new worlds, lives, stories that I wouldn't have been able to discover otherwise.
I also like creating origami and other things from paper and can spend hours taking and editing photographs of beautiful places.
I very much enjoy cooking for (and with) others and sharing good times over delicious meals. And as a good Czech I like good beer, especially on a hot summer day in one of the open air beer gardens (even though I love good wines too).
I like listening to music, especially rock, reggae, bossa nova, jazz, indie.

I managed to overcome my fear and not only started highlining but actually started loving every moment of the experience

I love teaching people how to make their first steps on a slackline or guiding through meditation. I enjoy all sorts of discussions/exchanges regarding languages
