This October I'm backpacking through Germany with a friend. She's Brazilian too. =)

Interests

When I'm getting to know a new city, I'm all about history, art, people's behavior and, of course, local food. I usually spend most of the time in museums and restaurants, or just walking and enjoying the city and it's architecture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmmmm... let's see

MUSIC
As a Brazilian, I have a miscellaneous music taste. Love Brazilian music, like bossa nova, samba and funk, but I'm also a big fan of rock, pop and electro. You could even see me enjoying an orchestra presetantion. So, there's a lot of crazy playlists in my phone, like Beyoncé/Lady Gaga/Britney Spears/Madonna or Tom Jobim/Chico Buarque/Marisa Monte. Some days I just want to listen to Sinatra, or am crazy for some Iron Maiden beat.

MOVIES
My favorite movie types are fantasy (Lord of the rings, mainly), sci-fi (Star Wars, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy), action (like, any movie that has Bruce Willis, or The Rock or anyone from "The expendables" in the cast haha) and Comedy (from Jim Carrey to Monty Python). Scorsese and Tim Burton are also welcome.

BOOKS
Books: OH GOD, LOTS OF THEM.
Since I love Lord of the rings, you could figure anything from Tolkien will entertain me =D
Harry Potter too... and Game of Thrones, obviously.
But also like Jane Austen, Maurice Druon, Eleanor H. Porter...
And comic books!!! Marvel and DC (just love both) and some japanese stuf, like Cardcaptor Sakura and Saint Seiya.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hm... Don't know if there's something "amazing" I've done... (that word sounds a little bit cocky, doesn't it?)
Well, I've traveled a lot. Both work or vacation, since my job allows me to get to know lots of places.
I help a non governmental organization in a favela called "Cidade de Deus", in Rio. Could be on the list of the cool things I like to do.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I enjoy learning new languages and can teach one or two dance steps, if you like samba.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you like drinking, I can make a nice caipirinha, a brazilian typical drink. hahaha

Most of all, I like to learn and to talk about culture, manners and way of thinking from different places.
