We are Helena and Kevin from Germany and Austria, traveling by hitchhiking around the world. After we quit our jobs in interior design and as a site manager we met in Spain one year ago while walking the Camino de Santiago and kept on traveling since than. Normally we stay in our tent but as the nights are getting colder we would be pleased if we could stay somewhere inside. No bed needed, since we have everything (sleeping bag and sleeping mat) with us :)
During our travel we are looking for nice Projects (on Workaway) where we can learn how to live in and with nature, growing the nutritious and good food we like to consume and where we can get in contact with open minded people. We love to get to know new cultures and ways of living.
Life is a celebration and we are pleased to be surprised by every new day!

At the moment we are hitchhiking around the world ourselves and not available to host someone. Maybe we’ll meet somewhere else on this lovely planet :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Helena loves to dance Forró, a Brazilian couple dance, she can show the basic steps and hopefully infect every new dancer with her joy in dancing! Furthermore she loves to knit awesome stuff, speaks German, English, French an Brazilian Portuguese, stays always in a positive attitude and enjoys to clean and to bring things in order. Kevin is a very good cook, is really interested in nutritional food or food taken directly out of nature. He likes to talk and learn about holistic management or market gardening and he can fix nearly everything - if he can’t he appreciates the chance to learn how to fix it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In principle, we share everything and we are pleased when our positive attitude to (outdoor)life inspires people around us. Even more, we are curious what we can learn from you.
