Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel: I enjoy traveling on a budget and enjoy meeting new people, although I am also pretty shy at first. Talking to locals seems like one of the truest forms of travel/exploration and insight into whatever area I am in.

When you travel: I have my kids only half the time and an incredibly cozy and large couch that can be available when my daughters are not here. I truly think traveling should be more affordable and would love to help make trips more possible for others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am really proud of:

1.) Giving birth to two incredible daughters and having a great relationship with them.

2.) Going from terrible to pretty good at racquetball as an adult.

3.) Hiking over a dozen 14ers in the Colorado Rockies.

4.) Solo traveling in Norway, Costa Rica, and other places.

5.) Finishing a bio chem degree as a single parent!
