About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a pretty independent, chatty (wannabe French) individual and have often traveled alone so that I am able to meet lots of interesting people. I like to try new things and get involved with learning new skills and cultures. I am open, bubbly and always up for a laugh.
PHILOSOPHY
Always look on the bright side of life, live it to the full and grab every opportunity that you can.
The world is a book and those that do not travel read only one page - St Augustine
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I lived in France I found my accommodation and have made some lifelong friends through the organisation as well. Now I'm home I can finally host!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed: Royan, Poitiers, Nantes, Lyon, Angouleme, Ferara, Padua, Sevilla, Carcassonne, Les Goudes (Marseille), Castellane, Barcelona, Montréal, Québec, Rennes

Interests
I have now lived in London for just over a year, I love discovering new places to go all across the city, going to different cocktail bars and going to live music gigs. I enjoy learning new languages and currently live with 3 Italians so am trying to learn Italian. I enjoy swing dancing, meeting new people and making new friends. I love the outdoors, am a keen sailor and hiker. I'm a fan of festivals and live music and can't say no to a good night out!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music...Gotta be electro-swing, soul, swing and reggae! But I'm pretty open, enjoy house and techno nights and love jazz, big band and acoustic too!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my first day in Vietnam I met a Vietnamese who grew up in Australia and had emigrated back to Vietnam, we got chatting, I ended up hopping on the back of his bike, seeing the whole of Hanoi, teaching English with him and spending time with his friends and family. We're now close friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
Tea and Scrambled eggs! I am a sailing instructor and will definitely be willing to give you a free lesson. If you're on your way to the UK I can show you the lights of Brighton or London. I can speak French and would love to do a language exchange.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live in quite a hectic house with 3 Italian guys. Unfortunately there isn't the space to host here as we don't have a living room or a spare room. I'd be happy to meet for a coffee or a drink in town. One day when I live in a bigger place and have a bit more time I would love to host!
