Hi, I am Helena and I am 23 years old :)
I study medicine in Austria and have the dream that someday maybe I can make a difference in someones life.
After the pandemic (if one can say so) me and my boyfriend decided to start travelling for a couple of months and we have been going for 8 months now. We have been in Central and South America and our last stop is New York. During our trip we met amazing people from all over the world, learned a lot about different cultures, tried incredible new food and also learned how to speak spanish.
David my boyfriend is 32 and a doctor in training in Austria and after two years of Covid he really needed a break. That said of cours we both a vaccinated 3 times.
In Austria we live in a shared house with two roomates - not to safe money just because we love to have other people around us. We also share the house with two dogs and the garden with chickens and bees. We love to grow our own veggies, we make our own honey and one day maybe we can reach our goal to be self sustainable.
After living with roomates for a long time and travelling and volunteering in different places we really know how to be respectful. We love cooking and also love sharing about our food culture. David likes to bake our traditional Austrian bread we even took the bread spices from Austria with us haha.
We also really like going to parties on weekends & we like to spend hours looking for good music. Also I really like vintage shopping looking for some good deals and finding a nice outfit for party is so much fun.
There is so much more about the two of us we would love to share with you but that can
wait until we meet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have used Couchsurfing a couple of times before travelling with friends and it always was a great experience. Its such a different experience to stay with someone of that country / city because they can help you navigate and you learn so much more about the culutre itself.
