My name is Helena, I am 25 years old and living in the beautiful city of Bern, Switzerland.
I actually grew up in Zürich, but because I wanted to experience other swiss cities by living there, I moved to Fribourg, a bilingual Canton in Switzerland, where I improved my french and finished my Bachelor in medicine. And now I'm enjoying my time in Bern, the capital of Switzerland. Currently I am doing my Master in medicine here.
After living for quite a while in shared apartments with friends and other students, I decided that I wanted to try out living alone, having my own apartement. I really love it, but I also am a very social person and one of my "Credos" is that sharing is caring and that's why I always love to have people staying at my place.
I also loooooove plants and therefore have an apartement full of them, which makes it very cosy and warm.
I have been vegan for kind of 5 years, but while I am travelling and sometimes when the social context doesn't "allow" it I eat vegetarian. But despite of the wrong idea or the clichée of a vegan, I am very open and flexible, so if you eat meat, don't worry, you are still welcome at my place! ;)
I am a queer ally and love drag shows! :D
My mother is actually spanish and my father colombian, so I grew up with swiss, spanish and colombian culture, and also that's why my mother tongue is spanish.
Anything else there is to know about me and about Bern is best by just visting and having good talks while eating a nice meal, drinking wine or having a stroll through the old town of Bern!
