Hello, my name is Helena.
I was born and raised in Saarbrücken, a German city next to the French border but I recently moved to Marburg to study medicine which has been my dream for a very long time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to see more of the world and couchsurfing gives everyone the chance to be an independent traveler although the best part is, that you get to know a place out of a complete different perspective. Staying with locals helps you to learn so much more about the city than staying at a hotel.

Interests

I swim competitively since I'm a little kid and at the age of twelve years I started doing karate too (I am a blue belt).
I like listening to music as well as playing it. I started with piano lessons when I was very young but I lost interest in it after a couple years. I learned how to play the violin and like to play for myself and in orchestras.
