Hi! My name is Helena and I am from Bilbao (Basque Country) in the north of Spain.

I'm an artist and photographer and love shooting with my film camera <3 I work on personal projects and also take commissions in fashion or editorial photography (ie music bands, etc.). I am passionate about music. Used to play the flute and the bass guitar. Don't have much time for that anymore :(

I'm really chilled, independent, love to hear a good story and learn from other people.

I have been living in different countries sometimes for a short amount of time and I am hoping to keep doing this through the coming years.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I learned about couchsurfing a while ago but haven´t really put it into practice just yet because I guess I haven´t had the opportunity. I have tons of friends that have used couch surfing before and have met great local people which in the end help you get closer to understanding and enjoying the place you are traveling in.

I love walking by the seaside, going to see exhibitions, learning about new cultures and alternative ways of living.

Books: Harry Potter saga (of course), anything from Agatha Christie. I have recently been reading Paul Auster, Jules Verne ( <3 ), Patti Smith´s Just Kids, ...

Backpacking my way through the huge and beautiful landscapes of Canada and spending almost 4 days on a train from Toronto to Edmonton, great experience ! <3
