ABOUT ME

Here we go..My name is Lena and I'm easy-going person ( such a cliche..) I like learning languages (English, Spanish, Turkish), teaching languages (Russian, English), traveling around the world (I've been in 57 countries so far and I can share my experience with you and I will be very happy to learn new things), watching independent (not only) movies and reading books (not that often these days unfortunately), going out with my old and new friends, discussing cultural features (not only such sophisticated topics). Sometimes I have fun, drink, make jokes and go crazy (mostly with old friends). I believe that sense of humor is very important thing, it's like an international language. I hope I speak it fluently.

I'm a historian but currently working as a Social Media specialist and copywriter on freelance basis (one of my projects is Moscow Zoo). I live in the center of Moscow with my beloved cats. But I travel a lot and spend few months a year somewhere else!

PHILOSOPHY

To be free and honest with yourself, don't be scared of loosing and trying new things. To trust new ppl and to live like today is the last day of your life. So it's important who you are with TODAY.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried it for the first time when i was traveling to Istanbul and immediately found few friends. Then I hosted one of them in Moscow. In Barcelona and NY I have been hosted few times, it was positive and valuable experience.

I would like to host more in the future.
