Hi, I'm Helena, 23 years old from Germany and I'm currently living in Boston, MA for a year as an Au Pair. I have a Bacherlor's degree of social studies and in the future I want to work with children.
I love it to travel. I hope that I can meet a lot of new people and see a lot of different places while living in the United States.
I love music, I can play the guitar and without my Ipod I'm not going anywhere.
I'm easy-going and I'm always in for an evening of watching Movies/ cooking dinner / hanging out or having a few drinks in a pub. But I also like it to go out to party once In a while :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I made my first Couchsurfing experience in New York City were I couchsurfed with a friend and I thought It was awesome!
I think It's a great way to travel and to meet new people at the same time !
And It's so much more interesting to spend a few days with a local than to stay in a Hotel and do just the touristic stuff. It's also great to share your experiences and stories with people from all over the world.

I love Rock Music like Papa Roach, Hinder, Deaf Havana,.. but also Charts Music, so I'm just listening to whatever I like at the moment.
Also Ed Sheeran, since i play the guitar thats always a good choice.

I love Horror / Thriller Movies ( Not so typical for a girl haha). A friend and I had like a tradition over a long time where we met every wednesday to watch a Horror Movie. At some point it was hard to find a movie we hadn't seen already.

I read a lot from the Author 'Sebastian Fitzek'. He's a German psycho - thriller Author and I just love his books ! Also other Horror/Thriller books, I loved the Smoky Barrett Series from Cody McFadyen and at the moment I'm reading a Stephen King book.

packed my bags and moved to another country to live there for a year. I hope It's going to be one of the best years in my life !
