Chi sono
ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm a french girl, currently trying to find her path in life!
A couple of years ago, I travelled around the world, and then settled back to a chiller lifestyle, working as a "walking tour" guide, and resuming my university studies which led me to do anthropological fieldwork in Taiwan last summer!
Now i'm living in Cologne, Germany, and attempting to learn German so I can find a job and stay in this wonderful city a bit longer!
PHILOSOPHY
Going out of your comfort zone is both a way to never be bored and to have cool stories to tell!
We should listen to our food cravings (especially when it comes to chocolate).
Beyond that, I do spend a ridiculous amount of time wondering about the meaning of life, about what is happiness, what is human nature, what should I do with my time in this late-stage-capitalism society... If you want to share with me your reflections with me on those topics, I'd love to hear them, otherwise I'm always up for getting my mind off them with fun stuff like watching animal videos, making pancakes or numbing my soul with alcohol :)
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For a very long time I haven't hosted because I was living in small student rooms, but now, I live in a real flat, with a bed couch and all, so I can finally have guests :)
I have joined Couchsurfing meetups in cities where I lived or travelled to, to make new friends and learn languages!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed a few times, all around the world, and met all types of fun and interesting people!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
The one true amazing thing i've seen in my life is a gecko with a blue tongue, back in a farm in Australia. For it to stick its tongue out, you had to rub its tummy; it was beautiful!
One thing I'm proud of was hitchhiking through the United States, based on google maps and hitchwiki. It was an experience full of sunburns and worries about not making it, but rewarded with great encounters, generosity, and new friendships!
Insegna, impara, condividi
I speak French and English if anyone needs help with that. I can also teach you how to cook French food!
Things-I-want-to-learn list:
-how to speak German
-how to cook Taiwanese dishes
-how to fight chocolate cravings (no just kidding i'll never overcome that)
Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa
As an anthropologist, I like to hear people talk! So I can be your (amateur) therapist for an evening :) I can also make food, or share some travel stories/tell you about my country!
