About Me

CURRENT MISSION

When you're smiling, the whole world smiles with you

ABOUT ME

deep-space exploration into the minds and hearts of those who want a better life for themselves and others! I love being with my community, playing music, singing, making art, being careless and free. I enjoy biking, drawing, hiking, and most of all traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Active organizing! I enjoy arranging and coordinating art and music shows. I am a core member of Food Not Bombs, and we cook, feed, and converse with all types of folks, about 120 of them every week! I want to educate and empower others, and work towards social change.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lovely folks from Vancouver,Canada - I stayed for a week at a cooperative house called the Beehive. Very welcoming, we cooked and ate dinner together every night, and even played Balderdash!

Sushi Tribe was a cooperative house in Bellingham Washington, they ran a Food Not Bombs out of their amazing kitchen- some of the cleanest and healthiest food in the country! We played music and made sushi all night, dancing happily with the air of the night!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most recent feat of November 2014 was curating an art show called, Consume! A Food Themed Performance Art Show. I had 6 visual artists and 7 groups of performance artists come together for one spectacular night to think critically about their relationship with food as a personal and social issue.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching kids about art, how to use a color wheel, how to think outside of the box, and I love learning from them. We share our knowledge and experiences together, and together we grow a strong community! I share my enthusiasm about the world, and provide a safe space for both children and adults to be creative, free, and empowered by their own personal strengths.

Good Vibes, Comfy Couches, Yummy Food, Take-away Love and Compassion for all of Humanity.
