About Me
NEXT TRIP: Greenland!
I'll be visiting Kullorsuaq in Greenland in July 2024, running a summer camp with Grønlandske Børn (NGO). I may get the chance to travel after the camp is finished and would love to experience even more of Greenland.
I currently live in England where I spend my free time gardening, weaving baskets and going on foraging walks.
I spend 2020 living in Indonesia, studied for my undergrad in anthropology in Scotland, and grew up in Denmark.
I like to travel slow and allow myself to settle into a place and connect with its people. Previously, I've spent some time in a village in Malawi staying with local friends and I'd love to have similar opportunities in the future.
When I couch surf I love to give back to my hosts in any way I can, whether that is to cook you a meal, go get groceries, help out in your garden, walk your dog, or whatever! I'm flexible when it comes to how much time you spend with me, as I love company but am also comfortable on my own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Indie, Scottish Folk, Singer-songwriter.
Books: Ethnographies, Fantasy (Brandon Sanderson, Jim Butcher, Patrick Rothfuss).
Movies: I'm catching up - I have seen so few. Feel free to recommend me your best must-see!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Decided to stay in Indonesia when the global pandemic broke out. It worked out great in the end!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be happy to teach you Danish or English! I can also cook, though I am no professional! I'd love to learn your language as well, your customs, family recipes, etc. But also, I think just talking and sharing a space together is just as educational as teaching skills to each other.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversations about what makes life meaningful to me, you, and other people.
