Jobs fill your pockets, adventures fill your soul.

With this idea in my mind, I took a big step a few months ago : I quit my job, gave up my flat and decided to pursue my dream : travel around the world !
I always wanted to discover Central and South America and learn Spanish, so with a one-way flight ticket I landed in April in Guatemala and learnt Spanish there.
Now I'm starting the big journey south direction Argentina.

Open-minded, curious and easy-going, I feel on my best abroad, I love to discover other cultures and meet people. Discover new horizons is also a way to discover yourself!

El trabajo llena los bolsas, aventuras llenan su alma.

Con esta idea tuvé una decision mas grande hace algunos meses: renuncié a mi trabajo, abandoné mi piso y decidí perseguir mi sueño: viajar por el mundo!
Siempre queria descubrir America y aprender español, entonces llegué a Guatemala en abril 2016 y aprendí español allí durante 2 meses.

Ahora he empezado el gran viaje al sur direccion Argentina.

Soy muy curiosa, fácil de ir, me siento muy bien en el extranjero, me encanta descubrir otras culturas y conocer a gente. Descubrir nuevos horizontes es también una manera de descubrirse a una misma!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After 3 months living with a family in Guatemala, I headed to Belize and Honduras. But after a few weeks, I felt some frustation ; I was visiting places but not learning much about the culture and not meeting as many locals as I did when I was in Guatemala. And for me visiting a country is not just following the Lonely Planet and taking pictures before heading to the next touristic spot, it's about meeting people, because those you will always remember.

Once I'll be back in France, I will be happy to receive couchsurfers and offer them in return what I've received during my travels. It's as great to share with others about your own culture than to learn about different cultures!

Después de 3 meses viviendo con una familia en Guatemala, fué a Belice y Honduras. Pero después de unas semanas, me sentí un poco de frustración; Yo estaba visitando lugares, pero no aprendiendo mucho sobre la cultura y no encontrando mucha gente de estos paises. Y para mí, visitar un país no es sólo seguir el Lonely Planet y tomar fotos antes de ir al siguiente punto turístico, es también encontrar gente que vamos a recordar por toda la vida.

Cuando regrese a Francia, me encantara recibir Couchsurfers y les ofrecen lo mismo que he recibido durante mi viaje. Compartir con otros sobre su propia cultura es tan importante que aprender sobre diferentes culturas y paises!

Interests

I like to be outside in the nature and since I've climbed my first volcanos in Guatemala (see picture), I just want to climb some more !
I love dancing salsa and bachata and would love to experience go dancing in the countries I will visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to give up my life in France to go travelling, without any concret plans and no idea of when I'll come back. Well I don't know if it's really amazing but for me it felt like jumping from a huge cliff to take this decision.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn languages and I am passionate about the links between languages, i.e how you can learn easily a new language when you know another one similar.
I would love to learn Portuguese, Russian and Italian, but I'm here of course to learn Spanish first!

Me encanta aprender idiomas y tengo mucho interese con el aprendisaje de idiomas, los vínculos entre las lenguas, es decir cómo se puede aprender fácilmente un nuevo idioma cuando se conoce otro similar.
Me encantaría aprender portugués, ruso e italiano, pero estoy aquí, por supuesto, para aprender español en primer lugar!
