Hello everybody !
Bonjour à tous !

We are Hélène and Aurélien. We were 29 and 30.
We are from a little city in the center of France.
We are very curious, we enjoy trying new things and love to travel!
We lived and worked 6 years in Marseille, a town in the south of France, and we decided to change our life. We plan to go to discover the world and have a big trip in august 2021 !
We both got the complete covid 19 vaccination (3 doses).
We are vegetarian (but as much as possible during the trip...).

After 8 month of this big trip, we visited Colombia (1month), United States (2,5 months, we did a big road trip of 9 000 miles !), Canada (3 weeks), New York (3 weeks !), Mexico (1 month) and French Polynesia (2 months) were we have done wwoofing. We are planning to visit Hawaï and after go in Australia.

Hélène : my profession in France is urbanist (urban planner) and I studied geography and economic, I am passionate about architecture and urban planning. I like to Cook so much (Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, vegetarians foods and there's lots of possibilities) and make good pastries. I have been practicing yoga for 5 years, am passionate about plants, alternative medicine etc. I'm singing and started paying guitar 6 months ago with the help of Aurelien.

Aurélien : I was an IT consultant before our trip. I play drum, bass, guitar and played piano when I was younger. I am really passionate about music and I miss playing it regularly.

We think that travel is the best way to meet people from other cultures, to share good times with us... We love to discuss of everything, we are really very curious and we love to learn and enrich ourselves from others.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

For us couchsurfing is the best experience to meet beaufitul people, we really like spending time with our hosts to visit cities or parks, share a meal, an activity, drink a beer or a glass of wine. We like to share our culture (and no ! France it's not just cheese and wine 😅).

Aurélien speaks English very well. Helene understands English very well also, but it’s more difficult for her to speak. The trip his the best occasion to talk more 😊
