Hello ! I'm Helene, 31, French and originally from Nantes.

I've lived some years in Paris before to quit my job in october 2020 for some adventures: I hike in Brittany along the GR 34, I volunteer in Uganda, I visited friends and family in Italy, Poland and Canada, worked in a ski resort for the winter season of 2022 and broke my knee.

Last year I signed for a remote job and continued travelling. I house sitted in London for a month and then flew to La Réunion Island where my brother lives.

As of June 2023, I just came back from a six months stay there, it's an amazing place and I cant wait to tell you about it 🙂 Im back in Europe for the summer (2023) and Ill head to New Zealand by October for a Working Holiday Visa.

Before that I also travelled in Europe, south-east Asia and also the United States !

What I like the most in the travelling experience is to learn about the history of the country, people, visiting places and meeting new people :) It can be in France or other side of the world, it is always nice.

I often travel solo and like it very much but I'm not against some company so I would love to meet some couch surfers along my way.
I like hiking / cycling, playing board games, drinking coffee with the sunrise or beers with the sunset..

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I haven't use CS that much before 2021 although I already was a member. I actually used it for the first time in my own country in France when I hiked in Brittany and I met some incredibles people (Zineb, Isabelle, Kelly, Dylan, ..) who made my solo hiking trip very special and I Am very grateful for this.

I hope that I will have others opportunities in the future to share great time with couch surfers.
