About Me
Hello every traveller and/or sharing-culture-lover-host!
I am a very happy and easy going woman, curious and definitely endowed of an adaptability gift that makes me fitting (and enjoying) a lot of places as long as I am with good persons. Which can be a total stranger with who I am talking and laughing during an awful bus ride or a little girl I am helping to cross the street.
Family is really important for me and it is first for family immigration reasons that I got the "traveller bug".... which leads me to this permanent travel and more than 60 countries around the planet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My parents were receiving foreign students at home and I first heard of couchsurfing when I entered my business school. I received first an Italian, then an Argentinian etc...
Since I am 10, I have visited more than 60 countries, done one real world tour for more than one year and I keep on discovering people around the planet, quasi exclusively with couchsurfing or relatives or friends, but always trying to live with locals. To get the culture, to understand a people, to share moments, to meet ideas, and to simply live rather than visiting.
It is not always easy with short-time trips, but it is worth trying and putting efforts into it.
But I do love culture, museums, books, history and then always try to get a maximum of informations about a place, which often implies going through all the touristic routes. It doesn't bother me at all as long as I have the "real life" part too, which is more a way of travelling, a mind spirit, than sums of rules to respect.
We travel to change, not our places, but our ideas.
