to get Ingeborg and I to eastern Europe and back in 15 days!

ABOUT ME

We are totally new to CS, and therefore we don't have any friends here - yet. :)
We are to girls from Jutland in Denmark, who are still attending high school.
we know each other through the NGO "Operation Dayswork", where we both are in the board. Operation Dayswork is an organization that gives high school students the possibility to help other young people in third world countries.
We're both vegetarians, and we're both into music, politics, dancing and partying hard :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've just signed up recently - Until now we've just heard stories from other people who has been surfing or have had surfers in there home. We're so exited about participating!

Books: Auster, Dostojevskij, J. S. Foer, Murakami, Gaarder, Dalai Lama - I mostly read danish poetry by Benny Andersen, Naja M. Aidt, Inger Christensen, Strunge, Halfdan Rasmussen, Piet Hein...

Movies: Never been a movie geek, but Pedro Almodovar, Lars Von Trier and Tim Burton makes beautiful films.I love musical films and classics like Pulp Fiction or Sin City, oh and a movie i fell over the other day called "breakfast on Pluto". It was really sweet.

Music: All genres, as long as the musicians are skilled, or the music has got some sort of soul.
L Cohen is the love of my life, and these days I listen a lot to African psychedelic music, Spanish guitarists, Sigur Ros, hip hop, a lot of jazz... and oh the pulp fiction soundtrack

HELENE
Movies: I like most movies, from the intellectual to the crappy hollywood-lovestories to actionpacked whatsoever - and everything with DiCaprio, of course.

Music: Post-rock, math rock, noiserock, shoegaze, postpunk, kraut, experimental, hiphop, grime, electronica, indietronica, IDM, glitch, drum'n'bass, gabba, perker-tech, clicks'n'cuts, ambient, trip hop, music concrète avant-garde jazz, jazz fusion, ska, reggae, noise pop, freak folk, pop, etc.

Books: I like Don DeLillo a lot. Besides that, I read a lot of authentic lifestories and everything else I fall over.

It would be great to say that we could cook a decent, danish meal - but since danish traditional food is so gross, I'm afraid all we can offer is doing the dishes.. Or of course making a nice vegetarian feast (;
