About Me

Hmmm what can I say about me ?

I'm a French girl, living in the UK at the moment :) Recently returned to Europe after 2 years spent in New Zealand.

I've spent most of my life (not that long hehe) in Châteauroux, a small town of 50 000 inhabitants in the middle of France , kinda countryside, not really known. But the region around can be nice if you like castles, known for les Châteaux de la Loire (where I usually take my guests haha). And then, I moved near Paris to study, so I'm familiar with Paris, Versailles and the surroundings..

It's now been 8 years since I left my hometown, living in Paris, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and now the UK, travelling to many places. I love traveling and meeting people from everywhere.

Oh, and I can add I'm really easy going too :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I save it for later...
There are too many !! Okay, just a sample:
For movies, I really like Forest Gump.
For books, "Belle du Seigneur", Albert Cohen.
For music, "To be by your side", Nick Cave.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How it feels good to say too many too haha!
Okay, just one.
Spending a weekend in Tung Ping Chau, remote and abandoned island of Hong Kong, sleeping on a cool rock with new friends I had just made at the camping site (if you can call it like that haha), having a night bath in the sea with bioluminescence ... and basically chilling on the beach with these amazing people and friends for the rest of the weekend. In this beautiful parallel world.

Teach, Learn, Share

"There are two dates on every tombstone. There's a birth date and there is a date of death, and every human being is guaranteed these two dates.
But that little dash that lies between those two numbers is what defines our lives.
So make yout dash count.
Live, really live. "
(Heard it in the movie Man Up)

“Man surprised me most about humanity. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”
(Dalai Lama)

In France => well, I'll probably be living in Paris so nice things as well I guess.

But it's not just about places, also about people, so sharing a lot of stories I hope!
