I am a Brazilian exchange student living in US since summer's 2014. I grew up in the inner of Sao Paulo state, Brazil. I used to live in Detroit and now I am spending my last 2 months in Chicago, enjoying as much as possible my US life.
Studying abroad was the biggest opportunity and it is still being the best experience that I had in life, and I hope to take from here only good things, which I am having successful until now :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a student I don't have too much money to spend with my trips, and as a Brazilian in exchange I want to learn english by contacting and communicating with the Americans. I don't know a better way to contact with the Americans than living and participating in their everyday life like it is possible by couchsurfing! I knew this activity here in US and I would like to have a great experience with this, as my entire life here is being amazing ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to any style of music but my preference is to some Brazilian bands. I am not very used to watch series but I love Game of Thrones and How I Met Your Mother (that I am still crazy with the ending).

Teach, Learn, Share

I am excited to share things about Brazil and our culture. Brazil is a big country and even I don't know some things about other regions, but I would be pleasure to share a Brazilian view from a young adult, engineer student, having the most amazing experiences in this 1 year abroad!
