I no longer go by my middle name Helen and have now been actively going by my first name Huệ (pronounced the Northern way, not Southern!).

I am a non binary, visual artist currently completing a BFA at the University of British Columbia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like many and I'm sure most, I'm looking to meet new people and share and learn and hear about experiences. For myself, it's all about learning about the Human Condition and the incredibly unique growth each person on the planet endures.

I'm a fairly introverted individual, but do enjoy social gatherings here and there. I’m better with getting to know people one on one, and can get easily drained by group group settings.

I much prefer to listen as for me I’m much more interested in getting to hear other ppls stories, as I’m a bit shy about sharing my own stories. I’ve been compared to a cat .. takes time to coax me to get me to talk hahaha. Apologies, I’m working on it >_
