I am comfortable meeting new people and I love talking to people and hearing their amazing stories. Since I come from a northern country I can very well respect people's private space but at heart, after becoming friends with someone, I am the type of person who loves to hug a friend hello and goodbye.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have usually stayed with friends of friends-of-friends so my personal couchsurfing experience is not great. But I've heard great stories.
The best option is always to have a good understanding with the person hosting you. I can manage well walking around towns on my own but if the host would like to take me around and introduce me to friends that would be even more fun. Just to get an idea of life in the place I'm visiting. A local person always knows awesome places to go that travelers would not find themselves.

I like different things. I suppose we could talk about past travelling experiences, favourite books, films and tv shows. But the favourite thing to do with strangers is starting to talk, not just about what we do, but what we think about different things and discover how people from different parts of the world can share the same ideas and opinions on stuff.
