Overview
About Me
I'm a young professional from Canada who has a bad case of the "travel bug"! (and don't ever want to be cured)
I travel to...
explore the beauty of planet Earth,
meet people from different cultures,
learn about new lifestyles and perspectives,
challenge myself with new (and not always pleasant) experiences,
eat all the yummy food along the way!
I'm inquisitive, sociable, optimistic, and open-minded by nature. I appreciate any sincere connections that I make during my travels, and I would love to share my travel and life stories with you. I've traveled extensively in Asia, and now I'm exploring Europe!
All the fellow travelers and curious souls out there - see you somewhere soon, hopefully with wind in our hair, sun on our skin, and a happy beat in our hearts. =)
---
We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.
Just go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a guest, I would love to get to know the local people and lifestyle. It wouldn't be a good trip without this human element! I speak English, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), and French so I'm sure we'll find a way to have great conversations.
I can't host anyone at the moment, but would love to when I have my own space in the future.
Interests
General preferences:
nature over urban areas
cultural or social outings over heavy partying (though I love to dance!)
new experiences over routines and habits
late night over early mornings
I like to be busy, so I probably have a few projects going on at all times. When I'm not travelling, I'm always on the look out for new experiences in and around town. I think every day can be adventure if you're perceptive to what's around you.

As an English teacher, I can definitely help you with anything English-related. I love language-learning in general, so hopefully I'll be able to pick up a bit of the local language from you.
