About Me
Hi Surfers everywhere in the world!!!
Before you send me a request, please make sure to read my profile and check my availabilities. Please note, if the calendar is blocked, it’s blocked. Don’t try to hack the matrix by sending a message with unavailable dates or later in the horizont. :)
I spent 6 weeks in Tanzania so my mindset changed significantly and I would like to keep that positive vibe as long as I can. I made some plans and finally I decided to move to Zanzibar, so I cannot host you anymore in Hungary. I open a new chapter in my life and try my luck on 1st Jan, 2023. I am going to open something, you will definitely hearing from me.
Right now, use my profile as a guidance. I created you groups to find some interesting places that worth a catch.
This is my fav, ‘let the stress gone’ place in Budapest:
https://baltadobalas.hu/
Other fun place: https://flippermuzeum.hu/en/main-page/
Remove stress place: https://frocskolo.hu/
If you need ideas or itinerary, look at this: https://welovebudapest.com/en

House of music: https://magyarzenehaza.com/en
Museum of illusions: https://museumofillusions.hu/
In summer, the best beach is Gellért! I bit pricey but there’s always place for a sunbathing. Don’t forget to mention Kopaszi gát, Dürer kert, Barba Negra for alternative music (outdoor), Budapest Park for Hungarian concerts (outdoor). If you like handpan, let’s go for him: https://www.facebook.com/AfronautaNagy He is incredible.
Tourists are always hesitating between the termal baths. The biggest hype is around Szechenyi of course. If you like the traditional, less touristy spots, I would highly recommend: Király, Lukács or Veli Bej. (Gellért is stunning also but it’s closed due to maintenance)
Ruin bars: Szimpla, in Gozsdu court: Központ, Arborétum, Telep and check the meme bar: Humbák művek.
If you like lakes and not interested in the mainstream Margaret island, you should visit Feneketlen tó. You are going to find some outdoor pubs around the lake (after spring) It’s so cozy!
Traditional hungarian dished for a reasonable price and beat in town: Hoppácska, Gettó gulyás, Erzsi mama, Náncsi néni, Fleischer restobar (modern Hungarian)
If you like Turkish food, Bogazici in the 13th district is a GAME changer, believe me! That’s my true love and happy place.
Vegan food: Veganlove (junk), pingrumba, Jimmy’Z Vegan, Leila’s authentic lebanese cuisine, Naspolya nassolda, Govinda, Plantmilkyway, Kozmosz, Tökmag, Madal.
Best artisan bakeries and croissant: Artizán, Aran, Panificio il Basilico, Jacques Liszt, Nor/ma, Butter brothers, Freya.
Wine / skyebar: St Andreas wine & skybar.
My fav place to eat: Artizán (bakery), Hoppácska (chimney cake, Erzsi mama and Náncsi néni (traditional local), Pingrumba (inspired by East), Bogazici (traditional turkish), Hai nam pho (vietnamese), Catch burger (burger), Bombay (indian), Manouche (lebanese)
If you like wine, let’s find a Bortársaság shop and they help you to make the best choice.
If you spend a week here, you should definitely see:
Balaton
Szeged
Pécs
Debrecen
If you can pick up max 2, if I were you, I will visit Szeged and Balaton (Balatonfüred or Badacsony)
