I´m Helga 25 years old, german and currently doing an internship in Spain. I´m originally from a small village in Bavaria, so I do as much traveling as possible to escape there ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m fascinated by foreign cultures. I love meeting new people and getting to know different point of views. It broadens my mind. By traveling I learned so much about myself. I think CS is a really good way to really get to know the culture and the country.

Interests

I love to be in nature and do hikes. I would consider myself an active person, I go to the gym a lot ;-) What I also love is Photography. Not just to capture the moment, it´s also a form of art. I could spend ages taking and editing fotos ;-)

Becoming a vegan made me really reconsider my diet. I discover new recipes every day and constantly trying new things. I cook a lot more than I used to and I would be happy to share a meal with my host ;-)

I also like reading, although I didn´t read a lot lately. I just love getting in touch with new ideas and concepts. It doesn´t necessary be through a book. I also like to watch documentaries or informative youtube videos. Getting a new insight from media could change your life! ;-)

Movies: I almost never watch movies. I my attention span is not that long and I get bored really fast ;-) I prefer watching youtube videos instead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going camping in the middle of nowhere in Mexico, paying some fisherman to take us to a lonely beach, eating self-caught fish

I did a Vipassana course. That means: No alcohol, no wifi, no talking and 9 hours meditating every day for ten days. Amazing experience! ;-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can explain german or spanish grammar and teach some swearwords ;-) I also like cooking, so I would be happy to share a meal with my host. I can be a good conversation partner too.
