ABOUT ME

I am a psychology student at Reykjavik University. Before I went to university I traveled the world for 6 months. On my way I met the nicest people and stayed on few couches which was awesome.
I love to travel, like probably everybody at this site, so I am very excited to go as an exchange student to Canada next fall.

PHILOSOPHY

We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment.

I met couple of the nicest people over a cup of coffee in Reykjavik before I started my travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed at two couches, on in Sydney and on in Christchurch. In both cases I couldn't have stayed at better place. Couch surfing is in fact one of the best traveling experiences you can have !

Interests

Travel and getting to know new people and their cultures. Listening to good music, reading a good book, playing football, scuba diving,travelling again and just living the life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
Good quality movies. For example: Inception, Fight Club, City of God, Memento, American History X, The Departed, Lord of the Rings......

Music:
Listen to all kind of music, mostly rock and Indy rock. For example: Kings of Leon, Placebo, Silversun Pickups, Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis, The Verve, White Lies and much much more ! Mostly depends of what kind a mood I'm in at the moment.

Books:
I love a good book, and read a lot and specially like adventure books. My most favorites are: Harry Potter, Bartimaeus Trilogy, The City of the Beast, Kingdom of the Golden Dragon, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Kite Runner and countless others.
Now it is mostly the Lonely Planet books ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking the 4 day Inca trail in Peru, finishing at the breathtaking Machu Picchu !
