ABOUT ME

Our names are Helga and Steiney. We are two girls in our twenties from Reykjavik, Iceland. We just graduated from high school (high school is 4 years in Iceland) and during our final exams we planned this trip to keep us sane. We've already been to Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia and now we're in Australia. Steiney went on exchange here when she was 17 so she's catching up with family and friends in Victoria and then we're heading up the east coast. We are trying out this couchsurfing thing because we like meeting new people, we've heard great things about it and we're on a budget. Hope you want to have us over. Kvedja/Greetings/Hilsen/Salut,

Now we're surfing but when we get back to Iceland we want to try to host aswell.

We're trying this for the first time but we've heard great things from fellow travellers.

Zainteresowania

Helga is the athlete, she plays handball and goes to the gym too often. Steiney is very funny, loves a good sense of humor and is probably going to be an actress. We both love music, movies and meeting new people. Since we've started travelling we both fell in love with that. Now we're in Australia and we want to try diving in Cairns and surfing in Byron Bay (too cold to do both these things at home). We would also love a bit of tan and some partying. Be aware that our humor involves being sarcastic and it seems as some Australians don't get it haha.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

Helga loves Dan Brown, the movie Bride and Predjudice (the bollywood version of Pride and predjudice) and listens to pop music. Steiney is a Harry Potter fan, likes comedie movies like Anchorman and Borat and listens to anything you put on except heavy metal.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

We learned to be Mahouts (elephant riders) in Chiang Mai, Thailand and that is one of the best thing we've done ever. We went to Sapa, Vietnam and were amazed. Angkor Wat, Cambodia was breathtaking. Then we're going skydiving in Bangkok after Australia and we expect that to be something great.
