About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the world aware of the greatest hockey country in the world (and no, I'm not talking about Russia!)
ABOUT ME
23-year old young woman from Finland is looking for adventures and multicultural experiences. Best words to describe me would be outgoing and go-with-the-flow kind of person. I love get to known local people wherever I visit or stay no matter what their personal interests, religious or political opinions, race or gender are.
I'm not only interested to hear from you and your life but also giving something of my personality and interests. Most likely you would see me laughing, joking and enjoying the little moments that every-day-life brings with.
PHILOSOPHY
Live- Laugh- Love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
During my au pair year in USA 2011-2012 I traveled a lot myself and did couchsurfing couple of times. I only had great experiences so why I wouldn't host other travelers now when I'm back home?
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
After surfing couple of times, I'm hooked on this. My first experiences could have not been better. With my hosts I was able to experience more than ever by myself.
Interests
I love hanging out with other people, not just people I know before. When I go out - clubs, gym, even grocery store - I find myself all the time talking with random people. Open, positive people always grab my attention.
I love going out not just partying but also socializing. Dancing is my passion, as well singing karaoke, even though I'm not a great singer. I also go to gigs, restaurants, ice-skating, cycling - you name it. Doing anything active and sporty with plenty of fun-loving people, is what I enjoy the most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In general get to known other cultures and nationalities. Learning about the life that people of my age live all over the world. For example during my au pair year I had a weekend trip to lake house with my American friends where they taught me to eat corn at American style and how they empty the beer can as fast as possible (shotgun). In LA motorcycle trip through Malibu canyons.
Teach, Learn, Share
"the Finnish language is near-impossible to learn, and almost entirely unrelated to any other language"
Lol, here you have an expert to teach you the craziest expressions such as "Hölkyn kölkyn! = Cheers!", as well as crazy Finnish sports like wife carrying-competition.
