Playing hooky for 3 months in Europe
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Henry! I'm a third-year university student at Harvard University, originally from Minnesota. I'm going on a three-month trip this fall throughout Europe, starting in the UK. I've traveled abroad and stayed with people before, but I'm new to Couchsurfing.org. Other than the US, I've been to China, Argentina, and Uruguay.
I'm clean, friendly, and I've lived with both guys and girls. I'm down to hang out with my host, or keep to myself - whichever the host prefers!
I plan on doing a lot of exploring, meeting new people, eating, drinking, and taking lots of pictures!
PHILOSOPHY
In the end, I just want to say that I've had some pretty great times

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite movies:
Life is Beautiful
Pulp Fiction
The Dark Knight
Her
The Godfather
Inception
Schindler's List
Lord of the Rings
Favorite music: I listen to a fair amount of EDM, and I also like a lot of subgenres of alternative rock, like dream pop, indie rock, and post-punk. Among the more mainstream artists I like are the Killers, Coldplay, U2, and Maroon 5, along with some less-known alt rock artists. I also like listening to mainstream Latin American acts like Juanes, Mana, and Don Omar.
Favorite books:
Man's Search for Meaning
The Four Hour Workweek
1984
Brave New World
The Iliad
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched the sun set on the Ibera Wetlands in Argentina, the second largest in the world, surrounded by alligators, deer, capybaras, and birds. Unreal experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty decent around computers, and can teach you a thing or two about programming them. Also, being American, I can of course help you with English if you'd like, or I can just tell you stories from my life in the States :) I've done a lot of art as well, so if you're interested in learning to draw better, we should talk!
