About Me
CURRENT MISSION
It was for a long time to 'become smarter person than I was yesterday' - but in today's world I am on a mission to spread the joy and build global communities of mutual support and appreciation!
ABOUT ME
"She believed she could so she did"
I believe that there are only few limits to what we can do. The most important thing is to be happy and find ways to reach happiness without taking it away from others.
I'm all about experiencing new things, talking with interesting people and learning about life. I found out that you can actually make a career out of it by doing ethnographic fieldwork. How amazing is this? This is where I am aiming at now...
I love music, moments of stillness, naturaleza and people.
My mind is occupied with thoughts of freedom.
PHILOSOPHY
Happiness is not a gift, it's the choices you make every single day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Coincidentally I have mostly been travelling :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first started doing couchsurfing when as a volunteer in the UK. Later on, I have met up with people and surfed on some pretty great couches around Europe. Meeting and staying with new people, creating memories and having fun is what I was hoping for and what I have experienced so far. Couchsurfing really showed me a whole new side of modern society, a side I really appreciate :)
Interests
travelling, music, singing, reading, taking cliche photos, hiking and generally wandering around whenever I get the chance.

Music, Movies, and Books
I must admit that while I enjoy a good movie like any other person, I could also just watch Despicable Me over and over again. What I am really looking for a a good laugh or a film that will come back to haunt me weeks later. Donnie Darko, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas... or Charlie's Country
Music: While I can still be moved by different types of music, from Metallica to the Doors to reggae, my playlist is increasingly filled with electronic music (importantly no vocals) and music from across the world, African beats in particular
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I solo travelled around Northern Ethiopia - via public transport, airbnb, couchsurfing and local little hotels. THE best time of my life! Renting motorcycles with newfound friends and spending hours up on the rocks next to Abuna Yemata Guh church, watching the funeral in the distance and rock climbing back down... spending Christmas in Lalibela and dancing the night away in a little bar...
Or maybe the two weeks living off-grid in Kizimkazi in Zanzibar...
Or the other two weeks by the Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda, living in tents with my rasta brothers, making morning coffee on firewood, hiking on a daily basis and painting artwork on our outdoor shower...
Yeah, life is pretty great if you let things happen for you :)
Teach, Learn, Share
We can sing together- a lot!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Smiling and laughing are the two most important things I do when couchsurfing- I take both very seriously!
