ABOUT ME
i work for an international social housing organisation where we try to develop bad housing circumstances together with the poor communities themselves.
i'm a passionate biker, experimental cook, love public speaking, urban and all kinds of gardening, i love breath-taking, thoughtprovoking discussions on religion, gender, urban, green lifestyle and any kind of social issues, discovering all kinds of human knowledge, i enjoy good food and good coffee, but i also like just to lean back and do nothing at all.
PHILOSOPHY
oh, the ever changing self definition :) isn't life a journey towards simplicity?
well i think i kindof believe that everything is as it should be. Also i think i believe in things like the transformative power of caring communities, radical honesty and nonviolent communication and i try to live and love in a nonpossessive, nonattached, nonresistant, nonjudgemental way, but i am not that very good at that yet :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been apparently a couch host all my life without really knowing that i am - hosting friends from all over the world has been and is part of my everydays.
lately my life has been a lot about having people with different backgrounds, CSrs or not, women and men, sit around my kitchen table eating good food, drinking wine and having honest discussions about faith, love, art and travels in serious and also in totally non-serious manner.
i cannot be grateful enough for these marvellous encounters and for the experience how people are able to open up to a level of vulnerability and honesty about themselves for complete strangers when they feel listened to.
