About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn from successful experiments in transitioning to a fair and sustainable economy. And to have lots of fun while I'm at it!
ABOUT ME
I get excited about all the experiences of life from the big things to the smallest. I love everything this planet has to offer and I am giving my everything to protect it. This is why I'm spending 6 weeks in Portland, San Francisco, and New York.
I'm touring, meeting, and learning from a whole wack of progressive organizations from cooperatives to pro-democracy organizations to open source foundations - and everything in between.
To have fun, make this journey feasible, and to meet locals who might dial me into local communities, I am couch surfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've actually surfed and hosted a ton of people but most of it has been outside couchsurfing.org. Lots of last minute hosting and surfing of people met at conferences or friends of friends.
Interests
I am very focused on the concept of a long-term sustainable and equitable society. I spend much of my free time in the pursuit of social change or in learning more deeply about the interrelated subjects of economics, politics, ecology, psychology, design, education, technology - and the list goes on.
But beyond that: photography, film, music listening and making, swing dancing, love biking, unpredictable adventures in the night...
When I'm not working for the changes I want to see, I'm out there enjoying the world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Experiencing the beauty found in the unimaginable diversity and quantity of life living in the reefs of the Yasawa Islands in Fiji.
Feeling the literal tons of water moving below me as I surfed some crazy waves in South Australia. Such a rush!
