COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While my travel style has never allowed for planning more than a day or 2 in advance and therefore has made offical couchsurfing difficult, I've spent countless nights crashing on couches and tenting in the yards of people I've met on the road (or in Tim Hortons). And although none of them are on couchsurfing, their ability to open their homes to a randomer who just wants a shower and pillow continually restores my faith in humanity and organizations such as this.
