ABOUT ME

Hi!
My name is Jenny!

I'm the Ant from Aesop's fables.

Currently I'm attending University of Alabama as a graduate student (costume design), and my husband will be attending in fall (also as a grad student - English).

Until moving to Tuscaloosa I was a veterinary technician (animal nurse)for a number of years. I have several animals... 3 ferrets and 6 cats.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best friend and I invited people to stay at our apartment that we meet on-line. They were attending the same event we were and needed a place to crash for the weekend. It worked out great, and I felt awesome for opening up my place to strangers (and having it turn out well)

I'm an avid reader... so here's a few of my favorites: The Song of Fire and Ice Trilogy, The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, Sophia's World, Philosophy of Wicca, Your Money or Your Life, Mars Trilogy, The Boat of a Million Years, Starfarers, Snow Crash, Time Enough for Love, The Dark Moon Rising series, The Gap Series, Jerylynne, and many others.
Movies: Silly comic movies like Legally Blond, Not Another Teen Movie, Can't Hardly Wait, American Pie, Eurotrip, Roadtrip. And other "good" movies: Chocolat, Elizabeth, Sliding Doors.
And now I'm into "classics"... Dodsworth, North by Northwest, Gentleman Prefer Blondes.

I'm seen some amazing animals who have pulled through disease, illness and trauma, and gone on to live happy lives.
