About Me

Hey I'm Angela! I believe in crossing cultural boundaries to better understand each other and make the world a better place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I travel a lot, I love to get to know people, and I believe that community is very important. I prefer Couchsurfing to staying in hostels because I like to meet locals, and I'm not here to get drunk and go to the club and listen to the same music I would back in the States. It's a great way to learn the secrets of a city and not feel like a tourist. Couchsurfing I have found that I go to places I wouldn't have gone otherwise and I meet people who genuinely want to share their life experiences. And when you meet the right people you form lifelong bonds =)

Interests

I love to read (especially historical fiction), write, eat healthily, meditate, run, and do yoga. One day I will write my autobiography, maybe you'll be in it ;) But until then, I do a lot of journalling, and some poetry writing. I like to pretend I can play instruments and compose music as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experience I've had was studying abroad in Germany and Poland. It changed how I relate to people and the world. It changed how I view social interactions. And it magnified my purpose in life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to teach the world to judge less quickly and to seek first to understand each other.
I want to learn how to make space in my life for the people and things I care most about.
I want to share my peaceful, loving, and energetic nature.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, England, Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Poland, Spain
