About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore Western Jutland - Nature and Culture
ABOUT ME
I'm a curious and friendly woman, living together with my husband and 2 small sons in Borris, 10 km from Skjern in Western Jutland. My husband is from Bolivia and we would love to have more Spanish-speaking visitors :).
We like to meet new people and love to hear stories of your life and from your country.
I like to enjoy small things like the little dandelion overcoming the sidewalk, a sunny morning, watching people in the city and my heavily growing pumpkin in my windowshelf.
PHILOSOPHY
It is stolen from some researcher from Glasgow... But he or she said that:
"growing plants and watching them grow make you happy".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met with a couchsurfer, Kyle from Illinois, on the Olympic Peninsula in the state of Washington as my first couchsurfing experience. And what happend for him, happend as well for me; when I first started I couldn't stop! Since then I have met with several couchsurfers all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like country and bluegrass a lot. But really, I like most kinds of music as long as it is not techno. Folkmusic and world are also favorites.
Best and most touching movie: Maria full of grace.
Best book at the moment: Naiv Super (Erlend Loe, Norweigan). It is a great book, funny and short but it tells so much about frustrations about big matters.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in remote village in South West Bolivia. It was extremely quiet and beutiful with the flat pampa and the mountains surrounding it. The life style there was so quiet without all the stress I know from my world in Denmark. But also difficult and very hard work for the local people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you something about quinoa!
