ABOUT ME

I'm 22 years old, and living with my boyfriend in Aalborg in the northern part of Denmark.

I graduated from high school in 2013, and since then I've been working and traveling.

I've been a scout for 16 years, and the last couple of years, I was a volunteer scout leader. At the moment I'm haveing a break from the scouts work, untill I start my education and so on. Even though I'm not active at the moment, I'm going to the national scouts camp next year with my old group :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed once in Cuzco, Peru, and it was a nice experience.

I have been traveling for about six months, and while I was in India, I stayed with hosts for almost six weeks, as we traveled from Kochi in the south to New Delhi in the north.

Interests

I love to meet new people and to learn new languages. And when you meet new friends from around the world it's great to learn about their cultures as well :)

Music is one of my interests too - I play both the flute and the saxophone.

Even though I don't read as much as I would like to, I really like books - especially when I'm traveling (a good book can make the hours in a train seem shorter)!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really bad at finishing one book before I start reading the next, so I have many favorite books that I haven't finished reading yet:
- The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
- My Name is Memory
- Narnia

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to see Machu Picchu in Peru, and I have never seen anything like it! It was so beautiful because it was so different from everything that I know from home or elsewhere.

I also went to the jungle in Puerto Maldonado, and it was the same 'wow'-experience :)

From January to May 2014 I traveled through Asia, and the only thing that was planed from home was the flight tickets - the rest we had to figure out as we went. It was deffinately a great experience!
