Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

stayed with javier in montevideo and later with a girl surfer in salto. it was fun and we bonded immediately! both were soooo helpful and interesting. how lucky could i get!!!
in paris had a great time with Ted Chang. he is so relaxed and interesting to talk to. could not have been any better!!!than i stayed with eduard Sepulch and his lovely girlfriend and again made a nice friend. now i will try CS far more often, it is not just to get a free couch but to keep on meeting all this nice people and u do not need to ba always alone.
one unfortunate experience: in Cuba no one can stay in a cuban home over night. so if u get an invitation than it will be a guesthouse and u need to pay.
In Iran deffinately advoid Arsalan Ya in Tehran! He offered to pick me up from the airport than he asked for taxi money! I stayed 1 night but felt very uncomfortable and left! I forgot my back up battery and he claimed it is not in his house! When I asked again I got a barrage of messages using the most discussing language and photos of a scary dead person with the nesssge; this is how you look like!
In general be carful with Iranian host offers! Midterm are based on trying to actually sell a room and a route as well as getting you on the friends list! Ther very rare real host will treat you with incredible kindness and friendship!!!'

Interests

wow, this is a difficult one. i am intersted in about every thing from politics to music, dancing, eating and reading. sometimes i do some sport like walking, biking and going skiing.

Music, Movies, and Books

most books and movies as long as they have some meaning, hate the ones with violence in.
music depens on my mood, but classics are my soulmates

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

got married and had 2 sons, that was and is still amazing
i have seen soooo many amazing things that i can.t even start to write it down, but 2 of them : riding on a reindeer and standing in the middle of the desert in mongolia to wait for a lift, when, finally a truck turns up, a lady pops out her head and asks in perfect german ... do you speak german?

Teach, Learn, Share

have been teaching a lot, how to eat european style, hygine, birhtcontrol, how to break spells of deprerssions; decorat on a shoestrin and of course english, german and french
