One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the 2014 Burning Man, I single handedly (LITERALLY! My hands were the only ones small enough to fit into the belly of the device) fixed one of the giant mechanical art displays that had broken down in the middle of the Playa dessert due to technical problems. With a little help from a fellow burner who was savvy with machinery, talking me through where each cord of the pulleys connected to which gear, we were able to get the whole thing lit up and functioning for everyone to enjoy for the remainder of our stay on the Playa. Everyone gathering around cheered and we enjoyed the fruits of our success together. The encouragement and satisfaction of contributing to the experience we all shared is one I will not soon forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe we are nothing more than a perfect product of our own surroundings. That is neither a good nor bad thing, it just is. All the series of events and occurrences in our lifespan, happy or sad, have intertwined and played out to bring us to this exact point in time. There are no right or wrong actions in the world. There are only the repercussions of past experiences manifesting themselves into the physical realm. For every action there is a reaction. Each of us plays a part and are like gods of our own reality. How easily we are to forget just what we are capable of. We have the power of the present to dictate the path our lives lead with each decision we make. Like the butterfly effect, even the smallest of ripples we make can grow to alter our future and change the course of our lives indefinitely. Live in the present and have confidence in your self. Chose to live a life of happiness and let go of the fear of regret or insecurity. Aim for the better for all and you will see a better future in yourself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really just enjoy the company of others. I like to be surrounded by positivity and encouragement and I like to provide that for others as well. I appreciate genuine people and like to have a good time and express myself without filter.
