I've travelled and lived overseas on and off for many years, before finally setting down some roots and getting a real, grown up job on the beautiful island of Tasmania. I work as a physiotherapist at the hospital, which I love. I also like to put on food events every now and again, whether it be a pop-up cheap and cheerful pasta night, an 8 course elaborate dinner or a supper club. I'm friendly, outgoing, to the point, welcoming and generous.

My favourite things to do are eating, cooking, going out for fancy dinners, going on hikes (with friends or solo), pottering about in the garden, talking about life, drinking nice wine (especially natural), visiting cute little bars, reading, getting lost, writing letters, sitting in cafes for hours, seeing art (especially at ARI's), baths, winter swims, cosy nights by the fire and dinner parties.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've surfed, hosted and just met up with people for food and such all over the place. I think Couch Surfing is the best way to experience a city - having an immediate friend and an insider guide to the best parts of any city/place. It doesn't get much better than that.
